Upcoming webinar and conference
How can understanding the experience of bus passengers deliver better bus journeys?
This November, Transport Focus will be involved in two events hosted by the Bus Centre of Excellence on what passengers tell us in our survey and tackling anti-social behaviour including violence against women and girls.
Transport Focus Senior Engagement Manager, David Beer, and Insight and Evidence Manager, Robert Pain, will be leading a webinar on ‘Delivering better buses – understanding the experience of bus passengers’ on 11 November.
The session will explore the findings from our Your Bus Journey survey and how to put passengers at the heart of planning and delivery of improved bus services. People depend on buses for a variety of reasons and building understanding with survey results helps to put passengers at the heart of the planning and delivery of improved services.
Anti-social behaviour including violence against women and girls
Transport Focus Director Louise Collins will also be speaking at The Bus Centre of Excellence and the Department for Transport Anti-Social Behaviour including Violence Against Women and Girls Conference on 28 November. The conference is free to attend and will cover incident reporting, encouraging behaviour change, interventions and more.
This a great opportunity to hear more about the passenger view on this issue and and hear more about the various schemes across the country such as the Transport Safety Officer Pilots.
