West Coast Partnership
The franchising team at Transport Focus has reviewed the West Coast Partnership bids, looking particularly at the customer experience elements of the plans. Our reports have been passed on to the Department for Transport and we look forward to hearing the outcome of the competition in due course.

East Midlands Trains
The franchising team at Transport Focus has also continued to meet with bidders in the run up to the East Midlands Trains franchise competition. They will be reviewing the customer experience sections of the bids throughout much of September.

ScotRail
Transport Focus is a member of the Scottish Government’s Stakeholder Reference Group examining the potential pool of bidders for the next ScotRail franchise. We are pleased that the pool has been widened to allow public sector bidders in future, allowing scope for increased competition to the benefit of passengers’.
