Passenger Focus proposals for the London Midland Direct Award

In advance of the discussions between the Department for Transport and London Midland, Passenger Focus is taking the opportunity to provide high-level analysis and some key recommendations for the Direct Award. We recognise, and are realistic about, the limitations of such a short-term franchise. Our specific proposals for the Direct Award, therefore, are for initiatives that we believe can be readily and effectively implemented, with a particular emphasis on those actions that can build passenger confidence and trust.
