Your Bus Journey – the independent bus user survey – 2025 results

Your Bus Journey is the independent bus passenger satisfaction survey covering England and Scotland, providing detailed feedback on over 50,000 journeys. It offers a benchmark for satisfaction on a wide range of measures, including on-board experience, punctuality, value for money and journey times. 

Now in its third year, the results from the survey inform the decisions made by governments, local transport authorities, bus partnerships and bus operators. The survey results allow targets to be monitored and helps funding and resources to be focused where they will have most impact for passengers.

Transport Focus will continue to use the survey to drive improvements and innovation across the bus sector. The watchdog will keep holding local authorities, operators, transport partnerships, and governments to account in their commitment to deliver more reliable, frequent and better-value bus services.
