Cross Country rail franchise: consultation response

When new franchise deals are let we want to see passenger views at the heart of the decisions about their services.

The Cross Country franchise, currently operated by Arriva as CrossCountry, ends in December 2019 and the Department for Transport is running a consultation to inform the competition to find the next operator. Our response sets out many important issues that should be addressed in the franchise specification, and by bidders before the contract is let.
