The future of the Wales and Borders rail service: what passengers want

As part of the consultation process for the next Wales and Borders rail service Transport Focus has carried out research to understand passengers’ current experiences and explore their needs and hopes for future Wales and Borders services.

We believe that passengers’ views should be understood before new services are specified, and their interests placed at the heart of the contract. That’s why we carried out focus group research to understand the passenger perspective based on the current service.

The full report is available in English and Welsh below.

For more details on the passenger view you can also download the research agency report.
