Ten actions to benefit Scottish bus passengers

27 June 2018

The Transport (Scotland) Bill proposes to provide local authorities and Regional Transport Partnerships (RTPs) with the flexibility to improve bus services through partnership working with operators or, where there is a good case for doing so, local franchising or running services themselves.

This document sets out 10 actions to benefit bus passengers that would fit within any structural changes to the way bus services are provided to ensure that passengers are at the heart of the process.

It has been used in our meetings with decision-makers to help set out passengers’ needs and expectations.
