A brighter Edinburgh Waverley station

11 June 2014

The difference is noticeable the moment you step off a train, as I did early today. The station, following the recent works, is brighter, less cluttered and seems a bit less crowded. However, it remains a large, complicated station. If you don’t know exactly where you’re going finding your way around can still feel difficult. Passenger Focus will be doing further work with Network Rail and First to improve this. In the meantime, the new roof really casts a whole new light on the station.
