Airtrack? No, but Oyster-tastic!

Rare journey to Heathrow. Not that easy getting from South West London to Heathrow – the now dead Airtrack scheme was meant to make this easier by rail. However, for those that are in the know a train from Clapham Junction followed by the 285 bus to Heathrow Central is remarkably quick and easy. Slight hike from Heathrow Central to terminals, but all underground. What now makes this so much easier is the fact you can use Oyster for the whole journey. No more fiddling around with buying separate rail tickets, not knowing when you will exactly come back – simple, just swipe and you know what you are in for.
