Wow, the main platforms at King’s Cross really have now become a building site. We have got very good in this country at rebuilding major bits of kit while keeping the railway going.
Farringdon now looks amazing – an impressive hole in the ground for the Crossrail station and new Thameslink services. Funny however that, at King’s Cross, London Underground and Network Rail have separate multi-storey portakabins – surely they are working as a team...?
