On the conveyance of skateboards by rail

Heaving train from Paddington to Taunton. Whole experience made more interesting by the fact of skateboarding festival at Castle Cary. Lots of youths with their boards and rucksacks made it feel very cramped, but it was a good reminder of the social railway. Train full of people with their luggage going on holiday – just what the railway should be doing.
