Bus services

Bus services are often an integral part of the local community. They provide links to public services, enable people to get to their work or place of education, allow people to get to the shops and to visit friends and family. Given the key role they play it is important that passengers receive a high level of service. We are working with operators to ensure this is maintained or improved where necessary.

If levels of service are ever reduced or routes removed altogether it has a big impact on passengers and local communities.  We believe that this makes it vital that local people have the opportunity to voice their opinion on any changes that are being proposed. We are working with authorities and operators to ensure adequate consultation and communication on decisions takes place with affected passengers.
