• how people’s attitudes to travel and use of public transport has changed
• the challenges ahead, including flexible travel
• the need to invest in digital technology
• current and future funding
• what engineering solutions might be available, the chance to deliver on plans whilst the railways are in recovery and what needs to be changed on the network.
