Can we give passengers world class train and bus services?

16 September 2008

Passenger Focus will be holding a fringe debate at the Liberal Democrat party conference on Tuesday 16 September 2008.

The event will take place in the Granville Suite at the Trouville Hotel, Bournemouth at 6.15pm. The theme of the event will be ‘Can we give passengers world class train and bus services?’. The event will follow a question time format and Norman Baker MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Transport and Nigel Stevens, Director, Transdev PLC and Chairman of Transdev Yellow Buses will join Passenger Focus Chief Executive Anthony Smith on the panel.

The debate will be chaired by Passenger Focus Chairman Colin Foxall CBE.

Alongside our fringe event we will be taking our promotional bus down to Bournemouth to promote the announcement that Passenger Focus will become the independent bus and coach consumer watchdog. The bus will be parked on Pier Approach during the day on Tuesday 16 September. Why not come along and see us?
