Scaling up green transition

On Tuesday 18 April, Ian Wright, Head of Innovation and Partnerships at Transport Focus, will be part of a roundtable at the House of Lords on ‘Scaling up Green Transition: Bridging the Sustainability Gap’.

From how we heat our homes and consume water and energy, to how we travel and what
we eat, the transition to a sustainable and net zero future by 2050 represents a huge
challenge.

This high-level thought leadership session will provide four contributions from senior
academics from The University of Manchester, who will lead the discussion and help to
shape the debate on the policy shift needed to scale-up the green transition. This thought
leadership session will look at policies which will work to bridge the sustainability gap
