Suspension of services over Christmas – correspondence with Southern Railway

On Wednesday 5 January Transport Focus sent a letter to Angie Doll, managing director at Southern and Gatwick Express railways and interim chief operating officer at Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR). We were following up on correspondence sent over the Christmas period about the suspension of Southern services at Victoria, Battersea Park, Clapham Junction and Wandsworth Common until Monday 10 January.
We called for better communication to those people who may be inconvenienced by this decision including information about alternative transport.
