Which? annual rail survey – Transport Focus response

17 January 2017

Today Which? published its latest passenger satisfaction poll.

Anthony Smith, chief executive of the independent watchdog Transport Focus, said:

“This poll will come as no surprise to Southern passengers. It confirms what passengers have told us in our research. They have had enough of the on-going poor performance and industrial action on Southern services.

“Following the months of misery passengers have experienced it is crucial that Southern starts delivering a more reliable service to help rebuild their trust.”

“Each year we speak to over 55,000 passengers about their last train journey in our National Rail Passenger Survey. The result of our latest survey will be published next week.”

The official statistic for rail passenger satisfaction, the National Rail Passenger Survey (Autumn 2016), will be published on Tuesday 24 January 2017.
