Smart ticketing to be rolled out across rail network

Responding to the announcement that smart ticketing will be rolled out across the country’s rail network by the end of next year, Transport Focus chief executive Anthony Smith, said:

“Our research demonstrates that passengers like the convenience, simplicity and value for money that smart ticketing can offer. There is a huge untapped demand for smarter, more convenient ways of buying tickets.”
