Train timetable disruption

Following the introduction of a new timetable on 20 May delays and cancellations continue for passengers on Thameslink and Northern services.

David Sidebottom, Transport Focus passenger director, said:

“Commuters have been let down and will want to see services back to normal as soon as possible. They need accurate information, at stations and online, now.

“They will be looking to train operators and Network Rail to show that they can run things reliably even when bringing in change.

“When things do go wrong train operators need to be generous with compensation for passengers.”
