Influencing new National Rail Contracts

The Department for Transport has started to negotiate new contracts with rail operators. These will replace the emergency measures put in place as a result of the pandemic.

Transport Focus wants the new arrangements to reflect the needs of passengers. We’re talking to the contract team to make suggestions about the issues we think should be addressed. We’re also engaging with specific project teams to share our knowledge about circumstances on different parts of the network.
