At the start of lockdown, the rail industry wanted to understand whether the reduced timetable introduced by operators was meeting the needs of key workers.
The research was conducted in a very short space of time so that the findings could inform quick improvements. Despite a somewhat unrepresentative sample (due to mixed engagement from operators that were generating passenger responses), the feedback provided us with a good indication of how the initial timetable could be improved.
