Merseyrail Wirral loop line survey

Building on our experience researching passengers’ awareness and experience of major infrastructure works at Reading and Bath Spa, we undertook a small-scale study among Merseyrail passengers ahead of the Wirral loop line closure for track renewal in February 2016.

Merseyrail, Merseytravel and Network Rail have been pleased to see that their extensive, joint communications efforts were successful in alerting passengers to the closure and the alternative arrangements that were in place during this time.
