Since the first weekend in May 2020 Transport Focus has undertaken a weekly survey (fortnightly during quieter periods) which explores people’s recent travel behaviour. We carry out 2000 interviews each weekend, asking whether people have made a journey in the preceding seven days, the ways that they have made these journeys, and their reasons for travelling. The questionnaire also collects information on people’s attitudes towards travelling at this time, and their views on transport in the future.
