Bus Passenger Survey methodological overview – Autumn 2018 wave

In 2018, Transport Focus consulted nearly 180,000 people to produce the Bus Passenger Survey. The survey is an objective measure of bus passengers’ experience on individual journeys, and covers the bus stop environment, punctuality, ‘on bus’ comfort, and the standards of the bus driver, together with overall journey satisfaction and value for money ratings. The survey has a well-established methodology.
