Christmas travel 2021 (week 2)

For the second week we have we have surveyed people about their travel plans for Christmas. This report brings together the data over consecutive weekends between 3 and 12 December.

The survey found almost half are currently planning to make journeys to visit family or friends over the Christmas/New Year period.

The majority of those who are planning to travel to visit family and friends over the Christmas/New Year period intend to travel by road. Less than one in five say that they are planning to use public transport to travel.
