23 December 2019

Transport Focus keeps a close eye on the service the rail industry is delivering to passengers. On 11 December 2019 Transport Focus chief executive Anthony Smith wrote to Greater Anglia managing director Jamie Burles about two issues:

  • the high level of cancellations on Greater Anglia’s rural routes
  • that Greater Anglia is not currently meeting its obligation to ensure that timetables are accurate at least 12 weeks in advance, for example when timetables change because of engineering work.
