In 2019 we tried out Spotlight as part of a programme of work to enhance our rail user satisfaction work by providing in-the-moment rail experiences. Spotlight was designed to capture quick, regular feedback on journeys using an online methodology.
Although this proved not to be an optimal approach, Spotlight did demonstrate ways in which we can improve and make better use of our existing data collection methods.
The reports below provide details on how the survey was carried out, the responses we received and what we learnt from the trial.
