Transport Focus submissions to the Glaister Inquiry into rail timetable chaos
20 July 2018
On 4 June 2018 the Secretary of State for Transport announced that an inquiry would be undertaken by the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) into what went wrong with the introduction of new rail timetables on 20 May 2018, affecting in particular Govia Thameslink Railway and Northern. The inquiry is being led by Stephen Glaister, who chairs the ORR board, and it is sometimes referred to as the Glaister Inquiry.
Transport Focus has made two written submissions to the inquiry, one specifically about the impact on passengers and the other regarding our wider observations.
